The Motivational Gifts Survey on gifttest.org © measures seven motivational gifts using behavioral response measures. It is statistically tested in terms of reliability and discriminant validity among factors. The data collected with this instrument was anonymous online from the general population, and normally distributed on all factors using SPSS with a principal components analysis and Varimax rotation with Kaiser normalization.
Chronbach alpha reliability coefficients are: (a) encouraging, .82; (b) mercy, .89; (c) serving, .68; (d) teaching, .70, (e) perceiving, .80; (f) giving, .67; and (g) ruling, .82. There is no cross loading above 0.4 on any scale.
